PURPOSE:To obtain the title nonwoven sheet having heat sealability and adjustable air permeability by coating a polyolefin nonwoven sheet having a special specific surface area with latex comprising polyolefin-based particles having specific particle diameter and heat-treating the sheet at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin nonwoven sheet having 1-15m<2>/g specific surface area prepared by flash spinning of a polyolefin (e.g. polyethylene or polypropylene) is coated with latex comprising polyolefin-based particles having 2-15mum particle diameter (preferably 4-30g/cm<2> coating build-up) and heat treated at a temperature >= the lowest film-forming temperature of the polyolefin-based particles and >= the melting point of the nonwoven fabric to give a nonwoven sheet having excellent heat sealability, flexible sealed surface and properly adjustable air permeability. The nonwoven sheet is suitable as a packaging material and can prevent rust on the surface of packaging material. |
