PURPOSE:To enable to view and listen a subscription broadcast free of charge for a prescribed time, by making a chargeable state after a prescribed time after the subscription broadcast is made possible for looking and listening. CONSTITUTION:First of all, program selection switches 131-151 are checked whether they are depressed or not. When the switch 131 is depressed, a carrier converter 111 frequency-converts a signal of an independent video broadcast A and transmits the result to a TV receiver 91 to start a timer. When the program selection switch 141 or 151 is depressed, the carrier converter 111 frequency- converts a signal of an independent video broadcast B or C and transmits the result to the receiver 91 to start the timer. During the operation of the timer, e.g., for one minute, the independent video broadcast selected with the program selection switches 131-151 can be viewed on the receiver 91 free of charge as the service time. When a reset switch 161 is depressed during the operation of the timer, the viewing state of the independent video broadcast is released for returning to the original state. |
