PURPOSE:To improve the total sound quality of a synthetic sound by making the contribution rates of respective element sounds of the synthetic sound clear and finding the target sound quality of each element sound. CONSTITUTION:Recording media 4-1 to 4-m output the respective element sounds which are already recorded. Synthetic sound sources 9-1 to 9-n are generated by using an oscillator, a digital sound source, etc. Graphic equalizers 10-1 to 10-(m+n) vary transfer frequency characteristics and filters 11-1 to 11-n(m+n) have standardized transfer functions. A mixer 12 mixes the outputs of the filters 11-1 to 11-(m+n) at an optional mixing ratio. Headphones 5 are used by an evaluating person to monitor the mixed sound through a headphone amplifier 13. Then the transfer functions of the filters 11-1 to 11-(m+n) are fixed and the recording media 4-1 to 4-m and synthetic sound sources 9-1 to 9-n are reproduced synchronously to reproduce the synthetic sound at a desired position and evaluate the sound quality totally. |
