PURPOSE:To absorb an impact during collision through the structure of a torsion beam itself by a method wherein, in a vehicle having a torsion beam accel type rear suspension and a rear wheel steering device, the rear wheel steering device is mounted to the torsion beam. CONSTITUTION:A 4-wheel steering device is provided with a front wheel steering device and a rear wheel steering device 5 for steering rear wheels 4 on both sides interlocked and coupled with the front wheel steering device through a linkage shaft 3. A rear wheel 4 is formed in a U-shape in cross section and has a tailing link 32 joined to each of the end parts on both sides of a torsion beam 31, and suspended by means of a torsion beam axle type rear suspension 34 approximately in an H-shape as seem from a plane having a gazette 33 mounted to a corner part between the link 32 and the torsion beam 31. In this case, the rear wheel steering device 5 is mounted to the torsion beam 31 of the rear suspension 34 through a bracket 39. |
