PURPOSE:To prevent a compressor from damaging and room cooling capacity from decreasing by providing control means for controlling ON, OFF the heater of an accumulator based on a signal of presence or absence of liquid refrigerant of a discharge tube from a liquid refrigerant sensor. CONSTITUTION:When liquid refrigerants are excessively accumulated in first and second accumulators 6, 7 and the liquid refrigerant is fed to a compressor 1 in mixture with gas refrigerant, the temperature of the accumulator 6 is lowered, the liquid refrigerant is fed into a discharge tube 16 to lower its temperature. When the temperatures of temperature sensors 13, 14 respectively become lower than predetermined temperatures, a CPU outputs a signal for turning ON a heater 15 to a heater driver, which conducts the heater 15. Then, the excessive liquid refrigerants in the accumulators 6, 7 are heated by the heater 15 to be gasified, and when the temperature of the tube 16 becomes higher than the predetermined temperature, the heater 15 is turned OFF. |
