PURPOSE:To generate a musical sound waveform signal of timbre close to a wind instrument sound by providing a means which fixes and stabilizes the frequency of a circulating waveform signal, i.e. the oscillation frequency of the whole system. CONSTITUTION:A low-pass filter 351 and a high-pass filter 352 which are provided at a waveform signal transmission part 300 are combined to constitute a band-pass filter. This band-pass filter controls the passing frequency band of a waveform signal passed from a signal line L1 to a signal line L2 and the passing frequency band is controlled with a pitch signal PIT to control the timbre (waveform) of the musical sound waveform signal according to the pitch of a generated musical sound. Then some of many resonance peaks due to the delay of the waveform signal are suppressed to fix and stabilize the frequency of the circulating waveform signal, i.e. the oscillation frequency of the whole system. Consequently, the musical sound signal which is close to a wind instrument sound can be generated. |
