PURPOSE: To eliminate the difference in image quality between images transferred on the different sides of a sheet by forming an image transfer area at the same time when or after loops in image supports are formed and reversing the moving direction of one of two image supports, while the image transfer area is formed. CONSTITUTION: After a receiving sheet is caught by a leaf spring 30, an arm 33 is rotated to move a carrying roller 7 to a carrying roller 6, to form the image transfer area between both rollers, at the same time when a sheet inserting guide 27 is rocked and reaches a position where the guide 27 is not extended between the carrying rollers 6 and 7. After that, a cord reel 18 is separated from a driving device for it and a spring 15 pulls and returns a seamless belt 1 to an initial position. During this movement, the carrying roller 7 comes into frictional, contact with the carrying roller 6, with the belt part between the carrying rollers 7 and 6, so that the carrying roller 7 is rotated in a rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction of the roller 7. Thus, the difference in quality between the images is prevented. |
