A damper control arrangement employs friction in providing resistance against the motion of a manually-operated disc 7. The disc 7 is complete with an actuator lever 3 for manual adjustment of the conditioning air flow. A friction plate 8 and the disc 7 are secured on a boss 21 mounted on the housing 1 by a screw 9. The outer edge 26 of the plate 8 is located in an annular recess 24. The elastic force exerted by the plate 8 upon tightening of the screw 9 forces the disc 7 against a spacer ring 28. This provides an inherent stiffness in the adjustment of the disc 7. <IMAGE> |
