Said improvements relate principally to the arrangement of lateral arms 3 actuated by a hydraulic cylinder 5 which, introduced via their ends 4 into the opening of the bag 2, stretch out the mouth of the bag, once it has been filled, and also including profiles 9 and 9' also actuated by cylinders 10,10' for pressing said opening of the bag 2 which reaches a lower platform 12 where there is a blade 13 linked to a displaceable carriage 16 which, actuated by means of a cylinder 19, effects a sudden translation of the bag 2 from said platform 12 to the endless carpet 20 which takes the bag to the device for sewing up the opening. <IMAGE>
