Improvements in ecological devices to disperse birds in airports. The device in accordance with the improvements includes a detonating arrangement formed by four cylindrical cartridges 2, equal to one another and located within a casing 1, in a tangential manner to one another. Such detonating cartridges 2 include the detonating mixture 16 and a retardation mixture 18 in contact with an initiating pellet 11, on which there is located another pellet 10 facing an inertia fuse 5. The device may be launched by a wide-mouthed calibre '12' launcher, and its launch leads to simultaneous detonations at four different points in a launch zone, all this in a manner such that the detonating mixture 16 will produce a sound wave of great intensity, without disruptive power. <IMAGE>
