ELIMINATION OF PROTECTIVE GROUP OF PROTECTED PEPTIDE

PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency on eliminating protective groups of the subjective peptide and obtain the objective peptide in a high yield by reacting tetrafluoroboric acid with the peptide whose functional groups are protected by the protective groups. CONSTITUTION:To a peptide whose functional groups (functional group of amino acid such as amino and carboxyl) are protected by protective groups (carbobenzoxy, etc.), tetrafluoroboric acid is added in an amount of 5 to 20 equivalent based on 1 equivalent protective group of the protected protein in the presence of a weak base (thioanisole, etc.) in a solvent (preferably trifluoroacetic acid) and the resultant mixture is reacted at -10 to 50 deg.C for <=3hr, thus obtaining the objective peptide.
