The invention relates to a wedge 6 interposed between the glazing unit and the rabbet 4 of a frame 2. This wedge 6 is in the form of a lamella, provided on the edge of one of its large sides with studs 11 used for positioning the wedge in the plane of the glazing unit 1. According to the invention, the wedge 6 comprises means which permit locking of a second identical wedge which is superposed on to it. These locking means are of the tenon/mortise type, the stud 11 serving as a tenon and cooperating with a contiguous mortise formed in the large side of the wedge. <IMAGE>
