PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical preparation that contains azelastine or its salt, or, in addition, alkyl glycerol, usual pharmaceutical additives, an excipient, a diluent or the like and combats inflammation disease such as ulcerative colitis and psoriasis disorder. CONSTITUTION: The objective pharmaceutical preparation contains azelastine, [4-(p chlorobenzyl)-2-(hexahydro-1-methyl-1H-azepin-4-yl)-1(2H)-phthalazinone] or its salt, advantageously contains a compound of the formula (one of R1 and R2 is an alkyl, while the other is H) in addition. The dose of the azelastine is 8mg orally or 1-5wt.% in topical application to skin or mucous membrane (solution or ointment) every single application in the case of psoriasis and similar diseases. In the case of ulcerative enteritis, the dose is about 4-8mg orally. The together use thereof with the compound of the formula is advantageous because the action of azelastine is increased.
