PURPOSE:To provide large piezoelectric distortion contact and high Curie temperature by employing specific PbTiO3-PbZrO3 piezoelectric porcelain material. CONSTITUTION:A composition represented by (Pb1-xSrx)(ZryTi1-yMz)O3+z' is provided. In the formula, M is one type or more of elements selected from Nb, Sb, Ta and La, 0.08<=x<=0.14, 0.49<=(y-0.5x)<=0.51, 0.005<=z<=0.02, z' is a value of so setting MzOz' to stoichiometric compound as to be 3/2 z when M is La or 5/2 z when M is Sb, Ta or Nb. The composition can have piezoelectric distortion constant d33 of 400X10<-12>m/V or more, Curie temperature of 200 deg.C or higher, and a piezoelectric actuator using the distortion d33 is suitable for an automobile, etc. |
