<p>PURPOSE: To provide a connector replaceable with a standard connector by arranging a condenser element inside the connector for capacitively coupling a conductive shell of the connector to a conductive panel and setting the dimension of the outside edge of the connector equally to that of a conventional connector. CONSTITUTION: An electrical connector 1 is constructed of an insulator 2 formed by molding and the like, an expanded part 3, and a single cylindrical part 4 provided with an external thread 5, and a hollow inside 6 is extended in the axial direction through the expanded part 3, the cylindrical part, 4, the front end 7 of the cylindrical part 4, and the rear end 8 of the expanded part, 3. A conductive stepped cylindrical shell 9 is arranged inside the hollow inside 6, and an external protruded key 10 in the shell 9 is expended from the front end 7 along a key hole 11 of the insulator 2. The shell 9, whose relative motion is prevented by means of a backward shoulder 12 facing the front end and an outward extended thin flange 13 in the rear end of the shell 9 after the shell 9 is inserted into the hollow inside 6, is engaged with the extended rear part of the hollow inside 6. A narrow long electric terminal 15 pushed into the shell 9 is protruded so as to be received in the corresponding opening part in the similar way to a plug.</p> |
