<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from being damaged by detecting the rotating speed of reel motors on a taking-up side and a driving side and independently controlling the driving or the stop thereof. CONSTITUTION:When the rapid feeding of the tape is stopped, the reel motor 3 on the taking-up side is stopped by outputting the rotation stop command 62 of the motor 3 to a reel driving circuit 5 on the taking up side from a control circuit 6. The taking-up speed of the magnetic tape 1 is gradually decelerated by the load of the reel motor 2 on the supplying side. The rotating speed of the motors 2 and 3 is detected by rotating speed detection circuits 7 and 8. Then, when it becomes a fixed speed or under, the motor 2 is stopped by outputting commands 71 and 81 to the circuit 6 and outputting a rotation stop command 61 to a reel driving circuit 4 on a supplying side from the circuit 6. Both motors 2 and 3 are stopped by outputting a brake driving command 63 simultaneously with the command 61 or after a fixed time. By controlling a device in such a way, the tape is prevented from being damaged.</p> |
