A coating based on chlorinated polyolefin and hardened by electron-beam radiation in the presence of oxygen is prepd. contg. following cpds. (all pts. wt.): (100) solvent; (30-120) mono-, di- and/or poly-acrylate monomer; (10-60) chlorinated polyolefin of 60-67 wt.% Cl contents and of 50000-100000 average mol. wt.; (0-60) pigment, (0-60) fillers, (0-5) plasticiser; and (0.5-1.5) UV stabiliser. - The compsn. is hardened by electron-beam radiation at a dose of 25-40 KGy, and in the presence of at least 5000-18000 ppm O2(Dwg. 0/0)
