The compression ratio in the feed zone of the screw is greater than four, with a pitch angle (?1) to the screw line of 15.degree. to 23.degree., the decompression in the decompression zone amounts to 1.5 to 2.0 and the compression ratio in the compression zone is less than 4.5 with a pitch angle (?2) to the screw line of the screw of 25.degree. to 32.degree..
