PURPOSE:To increase greatly the reliability for the heat resistance of a sealed part, by using the crystallized low melting point glass paste for the sealing junction of a flat type sealed-up container made of an inorganic material. CONSTITUTION:The crystallized low melting point paste 10 is used for the sealing junction between a ceramic flat type sealed-up container member 8 containing a mounted quartz bar 7 and a glass flat type sealed-up container member 9. The paste 10 has a <=580 deg.C softening point and a 20-100X10<-7>cm/cm/ deg.C coefficient of thermal expansion, and the composition of the paste 10 is crystallized with the heating up to a level close to the softening point. The sealing process is possible at a low temperature with the melting point increased to a comparatively high temperature after the cooling and solidification by using such crystallized low melting point glass paste. As a result, the reliability can be increased greatly for the heat resistance of a sealed part. |
