An electrohydraulic control for an automatic-shift motor-vehicle transmission comprises at least two solenoid-valves which are connected, through controlpressure lines, to shift-valves while these are connected to clutch-valves and dampers through systempressure lines for the purpose of shifting clutches. In order to engage a gear, two clutches are closed and the clutch-valves also have a connection for the supply of a load-dependent modulating pressure. A shift-valve and a clutch-valve are connected, through a control-pressure line, system-pressure lines, and a modulating-pressure line, to a damper in such a manner that one of the clutches has a delayed closing action. This delay produces a smoother shift, especially when shifting under zero load or in the low load range. |
