PURPOSE:To improve reliability of anti-skid control by performing control so that engine speed is increased to give engine torque to a wheel when coefficient of friction of the road surface is low, and stopping the above control when engine speed rapidly increases. CONSTITUTION:When a master cylinder 3 operates in accordance with the operation of a brake pedal 2 to supply fluid-pressure to a wheel cylinder 5 of a wheel 4 and the wheel is braked, an anti-skid control unit 1 operates a fluid-pressure control unit 7 to increase or decrease the fluid-pressure when the wheel speed detected by a sensor 6 is decreased to a specified value. In this case, when the road is judged to be a low mu road by information from the unit 1, EGI unit 8 operates an injector 9 to give engine torque to the wheel 4. Further, when the engine speed detected by a sensor 10 rapidly increases, it is judged that engine load is released, and control of increasing the engine speed by the unit 8 is stopped.
