PURPOSE: To keep a stable output reference voltage in a wide temperature range b7 supplying a relatively statue output voltage from a current determined by a first resistor by a voltage generator. CONSTITUTION: A curve correction band gap circuit 22 includes a reference current source part 24, a band gap circuit part 26 and a curve correction circuit 28. The reference circuit part 24 which generates a relatively fixed current Iptat to the temperature is so designed that Iptat=Vptat/RO is true where Vptat is a voltage proportional to the absolute temperature and RO is the resistance value of a resistor included in a current source 30, and the voltage Vptat and RO are dependent upon the temperature and are inclined to cancel each other, and the current Iptat relatively independent of the temperature is obtained as the result. This current Iptat is mirrored through transistors 32 and 34 and is presented to the curve correction circuit 28. Thus, the circuit which generates the stable reference voltage is obtained.
