The conveyor (1) for goods, especially a roller conveyor, has a conveyor-plate (4) crosswise to the direction of travel and which is lifted to above the conveyor-plane. The plastics plate (4) runs obliquely and is raised and lowered by means of a horizontal operating cylinder (10). The plate (4) holds at least one slide-piece (8) running along an oblique guide piece. (9). The plate (4) is positioned between two frame(2) sides (7) holding the slide piece (8) and the plate (4) on both sides. The operating cylinder (10) is linked to the frame (2). USE/ADVANTAGE - The conveyor is compact and the cross-sectional height of the roller conveyor kept the same.
