PURPOSE:To reduce local friction caused by a rotating shaft and seal members by filling lubricant into a gap formed out of plural seal members which are obliquely coupled in the gap between a seal housing hermetically fixed onto the wall of a hermetic chamber and the rotating shaft, and of the rotating shaft of the seal housing. CONSTITUTION:A groove in a ring shape is provided for the shaft hole of a seal housing 12 while it is inclined against a rotating shaft 1 so as to let seal members 13 be coupled therein so that the rotating shaft 1 is thereby inserted in order to be supported, and lubricant 17 is concurrently filled in a gap formed among the rotating shaft 1, the seal housing 12 and two seal members 13 so that the seal housing 12 and the rotating shaft 1 are hermetically sealed. Furthermore, the rotating shaft 1 is penetrated into the wall 4 of a hermetic chamber so that the seal housing 12 is hermetically fixed onto the wall 4 with each bolt 6 via a gasket 5. This permits the sliding surface of the rotating shaft 1 and the seal member 13 to be lubricated so that local friction is thereby reduced. |
