PURPOSE:To recognize an R wave in QRS zone of a wave shape of an electrocardiogram by sampling a wave shape signal of the electrocardiogram after suppressing fluctuation of a base line of this wave shape of the electrocardiogram and performing an operation based on this data by means of a hard circuit wherein a high speed operation is possible even in a wave shape signal of a high speed electrocardiogram. CONSTITUTION:A wave shape of an electrocardiogram recorded for a long time by means of a Holter electrocardiograph, etc., is output at a high speed as a wave shape signal of the electrocardiogram from a reproducer and after this signal is converted to a digital representation, a low frequency component corresponding to fluctuation of a base line of the wave shape of the electrocardiogram is cut off by means of a high speed digital filter 3. When a signal corresponding to the wave shape of the electrocardiogram wherein fluctuation of the base line is suppressed in input, this signal is sampled at a const. time interval and an operation performed in a hard circuit B wherein a high speed operation is possible. When a calculated value surpasses a preset standard value, such a decision that generation of an R wave occurs is made and an accurate analysis is performed by recognizing the R wave in QRS zone of the wave shape of the electrocardiogram. |
