PURPOSE: To facilitate accessing the inside of a heat exchanger for inspection, examination and maintenance by providing a joint-contained connection arm which comprises at least two hard piece members connected together with a joint which define the first axis. CONSTITUTION: An intermediate treatment device 22 is provided with a joint- contained connection arm which comprises two hard piece members 24a and 24b connected with a joint 26. When one plate, for example 30a, is engaged with a pipe plate with its extension-permitted member 32, another plate 30b can be assigned before an arbitrary point of the pipe plate, thanks to a freeness of each handle 28a and 28b around axis B and C, so, the intermediate treatment device 22 can move on the pipe plate without no, substantially, limitation. So, even if some punched holes 20a are stopped or are not present, the plate 30b is positioned and oriented correctly by allowing the extension-possible member of the plate 30b to enter the punched hole 20a. |
