PURPOSE:To prevent the drift of an optical axis caused by the insertion and drawing of an outside ferrule from occurring by inserting one end face of a pipe to a split pipe after an optical fiber is fixed to the pipe so that one end thereof is made to protrude and the other end face of the pipe is fixed so that the end face of the optical fiber is opposed to a light emitting element. CONSTITUTION:Optical fiber fixing parts 14 where the pipe 16 having the optical fiber 15 is fixed are provided and fixed to a housing 11 so that the protruding end face of the optical fiber 15 is opposed to the light emitting element 12 by having a small interval. Then, the pipe 16 is inserted to the split pipe 17 from one end thereof to the halfway. Therefore, in the case that the outside ferrule 6 having the same external form as the pipe 16 is inserted, the optical fibers 7 and 15 are fixed on an identical axis by having excellent reproducibility. Thus, the drift of the optical axis caused by the insertion and drawing of the outside ferrule 6 hardly occurs and the output of light is stabilized. |
