PURPOSE:To obtain stable quality without deterioration in characteristic owing to a deteriorated processing liquid even if a film is substantially strong by incorporating gelatin for photographic purpose and low mol.wt. gelatin in the constituting layer of a photographic material for diffusion transfer. CONSTITUTION:A binder is prepd. by adding 100g an aq. 5% gelatin soln. to, for example, the material prepd. by heating 800g an aq. 10% soln. of PVA (1,000 average degree of polymn. and 98% degree of saponification) and 200g aq. 10% soln. of an ethylene/maleic anhydride copolymer (100,000 average mol.wt.) for three hours at 80 deg.C and 4pH to cause reaction. Palladium sulfide nuclei and 1wt% formalin by the weight of said gelatin are added thereto and the entire volume is made to 3,000g by water. Such material is coated on, for example, PE-laminated paper and is heated for a required time. An undercoating layer is provided on the laminated paper and layers of ortho-sensitized chlorobromide and gelatin silver halide emulsion are provided thereon to provide a photosensitive material. |
