The transmission system is used between 2 transceivers with each each information signal element and each quitting signal accompanied by a proceeding signal and an identification signal. The preceding signal is used to ensure reliable reception of the following identification signal with noise elimination circuit incorporated in the receiver. The receiver remains in readiness for a defined max time interval within which the identification signal can be received, a signature value defined by a formula used for fault detection. ADVANTAGE - Applicable to transmission channels with large channel delay.
