EXTRACTION MAGNETIC DEVICE FOR SURGERY

The manual magnetic device for operative surgical steps is suitable especially for optic surgery to remove ferromagnetic foreign bodies from the eye. The device consists of a hollow non-ferromagnetic or ferromagnetic cylindrical box (1), which is on the one side closed by the face (2), which is equipped with a through cut-out with a double-sided dovetail groove, in which the moulded base (3) of the exchangeable positional extension (4) fits in. The other side of the outer cylindrical box (1) is equipped with a thread (5), to which the end cylinder gate (6) is demountably connected. The permanent cylinder magnet (7), which is enclosed in the steel coating (8), is loosely placed in the body of the outer cylindrical box (1). An elastic insert (9) from the silicone rubber is embedded between the end cylinder gate (6) and the bottom of the permanent cylinder magnet (7). The extraction magnetic device can be equipped with the arbitrary number of the easily exchangeable conical positional extensions (4), which are formed, as needed by the operator.<IMAGE>
