MONOSTABLE CIRCUIT CONNECTION

In the branch of digital or automation technology there is a need for the electronic switching of the width of the impulse generated by a mono-stable circuit. The proposed connection solves the mono-stable circuit with an electronically switchable impulse width with the use of three integrated circuit gates. The input clamp for trigger impulses is connected to the input of the first disjunction gate or conjunction gate, whose output is through a condenser and resistor connected to a positive or negative clamp of the power supply. Then it is connected to interconnected inputs of the third gate and also through another resistor and condenser to the output of the second gate. The first input of the disjunction or conjunction gate is connected to the input clamp for switching the impulse width and the second input together with the second input of the first disjunction or conjunction gate together with the output of the third gate is connected to the mono-stable circuit output clamp. Using one integrated circuit that contains usually four gates, it is possible to achieve three different widths of the output impulse.<IMAGE>
