PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of fray and burr in the inner and outer edges of a nickel mesh core by forming the electrode core of a hydrogen electrode by welding a thin nickel plate comprising an outer frame, an inner frame, and conductive paths connecting these frames with wires and a nickel mesh core having the same shape as the thin nickel plate. CONSTITUTION:A hydrogen electrode has an electrode core 25 produced by stacking a thin nickel plate core 23 and a nickel mesh core 24 having the same shape as the core 23 and welding them by heating in a hydrogen furnace with they pressed. The thin nickel core 23 consists of a circular outer frame 26, a circular inner frame 27, and circular intermediate frames 28 concentrically arranged between both frames 26,27, and conductive paths comprising wires 29 radially connecting the outer frame 26, intermediate frames 28, and inner frame 27. A lead tab 30 made of a thin nickel plate is formed in the thin nickel plate core 23. |
