<p>PURPOSE:To bind copied papers independently without waiting the completion of sorting work by means of a sorting means in the case of stapling so as to carry out a stapling action efficiently by providing a control means to simultaneously accurate a sorting means and a stapling means. CONSTITUTION:On receipt of a staple start signal, a staple action starts and when the staple action finishes, a staple transfer unit moves to a home position. The staple action is performed in response to a command of software. After completion of sorting, when the copy is on a bin 300, a staple start signal is delivered from a duplicator, whereby, by receiving said signal, action is started. At first, a stapler 401 at a home position is moved to a head bin for conducting stapling. After the stapler 401 moved to the head bin, the action is continued based on the value from a staple action sequence counter. The staple action is controlled so as to be performed independently and alternately until all of the sorting action (classification action) has been completed. In this manner, paper treatment can be efficiently carried out.</p> |
