PURPOSE:To enable continuous forming of Chinese steamed bun, etc., having twisted fold by combining a circular cutter, disk capable of intermittently rotating, receiving mold having vertical groove around and folding means, twisting member and bottom member having vertically moving shaft so as to carry out special action. CONSTITUTION:A food ingredient (a) such as a mass of bean jam is filled in a packing material (b) by downward motion of a filling rod 12. When the upper part of a receiving mold 27 is opened by upward motion of the filling rod 12, intermittent rotation of a disk 26 is re-started and the receiving mold 27 in which the packaging material (b) containing the food ingredient is housed is moved to the point C, where folding means 33 is downward moved by stretching operation of the first cylinder 35 and holding pawl 42 faces on the outside of vertical groove 28. Then the lower half of pawl 42 is allowed to enter from the vertical groove 28 into a receiving mold 27 by stretching operation of the second cylinder 44 and recessed part of side piece of the packaging material (b) is folded to close the center of the upper part of packaging material and then twisting member 49 is rotated and lowered to apply twist to the fold. Then when the receiving mold 27 is moved to the point D, a roller 29 is put on the projection part of cam disk 31 and a bottom member 27C is upward moved and the molded Chinese steamed bun is pushed out onto the upper part of receiving mold 27 and carried through a chou 55 onto a conveyor 52 by a feed-out cylinder 54. |
