PURPOSE:To attain the transmission reception of a routine message even during the absence of a called party by providing a network controller, a handset, a keyboard, a pushbutton dial multi-frequency signal receiver, a generator, a control processor and a message display unit to a terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a subscriber of a marine earth station 2 dials a subscriber number from a terminal equipment 6, a radio carrier radiates from the subscriber via a radio equipment 15 and an antenna 16 to a satellite 1. The satellite 1 sends a signal to a coast earth station 3, which connects to a terminal equipment 7 via a domestic communication network 6 and a domestic exchange station 7. When the subscriber of the terminal equipment 7 is absent, a network controller of the terminal equipment 7 sends an automatic reply service tone and the subscriber of the terminal equipment 6 recognizes the absence. A routine message is sent, stored in a control processor of the terminal equipment 7 and the subscriber after the return obtains the information arrived during the absence. |
