PURPOSE:To obtain a clear lustrous image on a print face with high strength by employing a transparent basic material and independently providing a porous pigment adsorption layer and a solvent adsorption layer. CONSTITUTION:A layer composed of porous alumina hydrate is arranged on a transparent substrate and a layer composed of porous fine powder silica is applied thereon. The transparent basic material includes organic film or sheet of polyethylene terephthalate, polyester, diacetate, and the like, or various types of glass. A porous alumina hydrate layer, preferably having adsorption in the range of 20-100mg/g, is applied on the transparent substrate. A fine powder silica layer having average grain size of 1-50mu and thin hole volume of 0.5-3.0cc/g is applied on the surface of the porous alumina hydrate layer. When ink is fed from the side of the fine powder silica layer, only the solvent thereof is born by the silica layer and the pigment is born by the underlaying layer, i.e. the alumina hydrate layer. |
