Cpds. of formula (I), their optically active isomers and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addn. salts are prepared. In (I), R is piperidyl, pyrazyl, morpholyl, pyridyl, pyrimidyl, indolyl, quinolyl, benzoxazolyl, benzothiazolyl or benzothiadiazolyl; R1 is furanyl, thienyl or lower alkoxy lower alkyl; R2 is phenyl lower alkyl. (I) may be used in narcotic antagonistic or analgesic compsns. and to produce selective reversals of the actions of opiate analgesics, esp. respiratory depression.
