PURPOSE:To stably obtain multicolor images of a high grade without having color clouding in a wide transfer temp. range by forming images on the image recording medium formed by fixing in the form of nearly a single layer on a base material. CONSTITUTION:This expressed by formula medium consists of a binder layer 2 provided on the base material 1, image forming elemental bodies 3 and a lubricating material 4 which is solid at ordinary temp. The lubricating material lowers the resistance to a slip and to prevent fusing and sticking. The image recording medium formed by fixing the image forming elemental bodies which are changed in the properties to govern the transfer characteristics by being imparted with light energy and heat energy have the material which has lubricity and is solid at ordinary temp. between the image forming elemental bodies in such a manner. The lubricating material exists between the image forming elemental bodies and, therefore, the independency of the respective image forming elemental bodies is enhanced at the time of superposing the image recording medium and the medium to be recorded and transferring the images. The sharp recorded images which are free from the unnecessary color mixing are thus obtd. |
