PURPOSE: To allow practical use at a high speed by connecting a first seal element to a ring or a washer to cover a gap and extending the same in the axial direction, and connecting a second seal element to a housing in co-operation with the first seal element. CONSTITUTION: A seal element 16 is connected at a part bent radially inward of the end of the cylindrical part 18 to a washer 8 provided between a bearing 2 and a ring 5, and a seal part 20 extended radially inward of the seal element 14 is interposed between two seal parts 19 extended radially outward. The outer peripheral part of the seal element 14 is extended axially, and fixed to a housing 3 to cover a clearance gap 10 formed between the ring 5 and the bearing 2 or the washer 8. Accordingly, high speed rotation is enabled while the sealing performance is kept, the speed of the device is increased, and inclination of the shaft is allowed to enlarge the scale of design. |
