PURPOSE:To improve the operability of cutting work by forming cutting position marks which are used when a glass substrate is cut in a process for forming an orienting film on the glass substrate by printing technique simultaneously with the orienting film. CONSTITUTION:The cutting position marks 1 - 4 are formed in the process for forming the orienting film on the glass substrate 5 by the printing technique simultaneously with the orienting film by working the cutting position marks previously so that the cutting position marks can be printed at the same time on a rubber plate used for the printing in the process. Consequently, the glass substrate an easily be cut according to the cutting position marks which are formed previously in the orienting film forming process, so the workability of the cutting process is improved. |
