PURPOSE:To oxidize and remove sulfide in treated water according to an energy conservation system by increasing the adhesion of sulfur oxidizing bacteria by a method wherein anearobically treated water is supplied from the upper part of a treatment tank wherein a plurality of bowl-shaped unit treatment parts are laminated to be allowed to successively overflow and fall, and a weak wind is sent from the lower part of the treatment tank. CONSTITUTION:A large number of bowl-shaped unit treatment parts 2a to 2n are laminated and arranged up and down at an arbitrary interval in a treatment tank 1 so that the opening parts thereof are turned upwardly. The treated water supplied to the unit treatment part 2a of the uppermost stage from the supply port 10 of anaerobically treated water provided to the upper part of the treatment tank 1 overflows the unit treatment part 2a to go along the rear thereof and successively falls to lower stages to be introduced into the buffle 5 under the unit treatment part 2n of the lowermost stage to be stored in the lower part of the treatment tank 1. Further, an air feed port 9 for sending a weak wind is provided to the lower part of the unit treatment part 2n of the lowermost stage to increase the contact of microorganisms grown on the rears of the respective unit treatment parts 2a to 2n with oxygen and aerobic microorganisms like sulfur oxidizing bacteria become constitutional species and sulfide in anaerobically treated water is oxidized to a sulfate radical to be removed.
|
