The fully adjustable chair is used e.g. as an office chair. It has a seat mounting (16) and backrest mounting (17) hinged to the seat frame (14) through horizontal axes (24, 25). The seat mounting is coupled to the backrest mounting with two links (26). The backrest height adjustment is by a control knob (37) located under the seat. The control knob is connected to the backrest by a torsion cable (36) on whose end a threaded shaft (33) is coupled to the inside of a telescopic tube (32) inside the backrest. USE/ADVANTAGE - Fully adjustable chair. Allows for height adjustment of backrest while person remains seated.
