A device for jointly blowing through fuel and air in fuel injection apparatus of internal combustion engines has a housing (10) with a fuel and air connection (11, 12) and a blow-through aperture (20) connected to these, together with two valves (41, 42) arranged in the housing (10) and actuated by a solenoid (25). In order, by synchronously timed metering of fuel and air, to determine the mixing ratio solely by the opening time of the valves (41, 42), both valves (41, 42) are arranged concentrically with one another directly on the blow-through aperture (20). The valve element (44) of the air valve (41) and the valve seat (45) of the fuel valve (42) are jointly carried by a hollow shaft (23) actuated by the solenoid (25). To open the valve, the valve element (44) of the air valve (41) lifts inwards and the valve element (46) of the fuel valve (42) outwards, a lifting stop (40) being so arranged on the lift of the valve element (46) of the fuel valve (42) that the maximum travel of the hollow shaft (23) is greater than that of the valve element (46) of the fuel valve (42).
