The device for loosening up loose material, particularly when removing grain from a grain tank in a threshing machine has an ejector screw conveyor set on the bottom of the tank and provided with an adjustable cover (3) which can be raised and lowered on the delivery side by a separate drive about a centre of gravity (4) set on the opposite side. Both side walls (6,7) of the cover (3) are provided with swivel movable tine rods (12,13) which are provided with tines (14) at suitable distances. Rigidly fixed levers (15,16) running in the direction of the tines are mounted on both tine rods and rigid guide rods (17,18) are attached for articulated movement to the end areas of the levers. These guide rods extend vertically up to an upper cross support (10) to which they are attached for articulated movement as well. USE/ADVANTAGE - The active area is increased and the loosening effect is improved whilst the structrual expense is reduced.
