PURPOSE:To obtain sharp transferred images with a simple operation by subjecting a photosensitive material to a heat development processing while suppressing the infiltration of oxygen into a photosensitive layer and transferring the images by heating at the temp. higher than the temp. at the time of the heat development during the transfer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material formed by including at least a silver halide and polymerizable compd. into microcapsules is subjected to the heat development processing while the intrusion of oxygen into the photosensitive layer is suppressed simultaneously or after an imagewise exposing. The photosensitive layer surface side of the photosensitive material and the image receiving layer surface side of the image receiving material having the image receiving layer on a base are superposed on each other and both the materials are heated in this state at the temp. higher than the temp. at the time of the heat development, by which the unpolymerized polymerizable compound is transferred onto the image receiving material. The heating temp. is preferably 80 to 200 deg.C and more preferably 100 to 180 deg.C. The sharp transferred images are obtd. with the simple operation in this way. |
