PURPOSE: To enable sufficiently accelerated heat-sterilization and forcible air- cooling of a metering and dispensing device by a method wherein a heat- resistant sheet between a pair of discharge tubes and outlet tubular portions is perforated, and a heat-sterilizing fluid is circulated via a metering and dispensing device. CONSTITUTION: The lower end of each discharge tube 15 is extended to the inside of a horizontal duct connected to a tank in a closed circuit for a sterilizing fluid and the closed circuit has a means to heat-distribute the sterilizing fluid and a means to cool the fluid. Also, a sterilizing device 14 has perforating members 23 which perforate a heat-resistant sheet 12 to make a small hole 24 on the discharge tube 15 when the heat-resistant sheet 12 is hermetically held between an outlet tubular portion 10 of a metering and dispensing device 9 and discharge tube 15 at its high position. It is thus possible to efficiently circulate the sterilizing fluid to the lower portion of each metering and dispensing device 9. This enables sufficiently accelerated heat-sterilization and forcible air-cooling for the metering and dispensing device without causing condensation of the sterilizing fluid in the metering and dispensing device 9. |
