<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the manufacturing efficiency and heat resistance by using a glass fiber toughened polybutylene terephthalate resin at the mouth part of a bottle. CONSTITUTION:On the mouth part and bottom part, if desired, of a plastic bottle of which major ingredient is a polyethylene terephthalate resin monomer, a glass fiber reinforced polyethylene terephthalate resin is used. For the major material of the bottle, i.e., polyethylene terephthalate resin, polyethylene terephthalate resins, e.g., a part of the terephthalic acid unit is replaced with an isophthalic acid unit, can be used. By this method, the manufacturing efficiency and heat resistance can be enhanced.</p> |
