PURPOSE:To reduce remaining voltage and to stop a system without giving an adverse effect on the system by changing the resistor for remaining voltage discharge to a high value and by combining with a zero voltage closing type switch. CONSTITUTION:By a stop instruction, a switch 3a is opened to separate a resistor 2a from a line and a switch 14 is closed to connect a high resistor 13 for remaining voltage discharge to the line. Since the high resistor 13 has higher resistance compared with resistors 2a-2c, consumption current is small and oxygen and hydrogen left inside a cell are gradually consumed, and remaining voltage is also gradually discharged. The remaining voltage is reduced and a system is quickly stopped without giving an adverse effect on a cell 1. |
