摘要 PURPOSE:To generate high coercive force even in powder state, to not only enhance magnetic properties and but to also simplify steps by forming consolidated material having magnetic anisotropy in a thin plate state having a predetermined thickness or less, coating the surface with a predetermined rare earth metal layer, heat treating it at a predetermined temperature or higher, and then pulverizing. CONSTITUTION:Consolidated material having magnetic anisotropy is formed, formed in a thin plate state of a thickness such as 1mm or less, the surface is coated with at least one type of rare earth metal of rare earth elements including Y by a sputtering method, a depositing method, etc., heat treated at 250 deg.C or higher, and then pulverized. In order to form the consolidated material, alloy is quenched by a quenching thin band manufacturing unit, and the obtained thin piece is mechanically orientated by two stages of hot pressing method to be magnetically made anisotropic. After the alloy is melted and cast, it is made as sintered magnet which is magnetically anisotropic in steps such as pulverizing, molding in a magnetic field, sintering and heat treating by so-called powder metallurgical method.
