PURPOSE:To impregnate a magnetic coated film with more lubricant without causing any signal errors by dispersing a thermoplastic resin which is compatible with a thermosetting resin uniformly and finely in a magnetic paint, curing the thermosetting resin incompletely, and then extracting and removing the thermoplastic resin with a solvent. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic paint composition contg. magnetic powder, a thermosetting resin, and a thermoplastic resin which is compatible with the thermosetting resin is prepared, and the magnetic paint composition is coated on a substrate to form a magnetic coated film. Subsequently, the substrate coated with the magnetic coated film is primarily baked to cure the magnetic coated film incompletely, and then the thermoplastic resin is extracted and removed from the incompletely cured coated film by using a solvent. The substrate having the magnetic coated film is secondarily baked to cure the magnetic film completely, and the micropores formed in the magnetic coated film is impregnated with a lubricant. The magnetic coated film is composed preferably of 55-75wt% magnetic powder and the remainder of resin, and 5-30wt%, based on the total resin, thermoplastic resin is used. |
